Fabrication

An "imaginative room" is not purely developed by one's ideas. It is manifestation of an individual's understanding of spatial experiences, which is developed through exposure to other ideas. The exploration of materials and techniques can enhance one's understanding of varying spatial experiences. Structure is first present in the form of experimental studies and can present a certain idea. However, form shouldn't completely dictate the outcome of the design, nor determine the meaning of the spaces, as that is no longer one's "imaginative room". Therefore, through the thorough understanding of the plethora of possibilities created by these materials, one can fabricate a form in accordance to their ideas. The designer is not purely dictated by the process of experimentation,  but utilise it to generate new ideas and create something from their own imagination.
